RUM SAUCE 
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. lemon juice
2-3 tbsp. dark rum

Mix sugar, butter and beaten egg. Heat in a double boiler. Stir until smooth and glossy. Add lemon juice and rum. Superb on hot mincemeat or apple pie.
