WILLA'S RUM SAUCE 
1 well beaten egg yolk
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. water
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup

Combine all of the above ingredients. Do not boil. Add the following:

1 lb. caramels
1 pt. water

Cook 2 minutes. Add 1 bottle caramel topping and 3 tablespoons rum (you may use rum flavoring or real rum). This is delicious over caramel ice cream or it is a delicious topping for cakes and pies.
