JO'S TACO PIE | |
1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 env. taco seasoning 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or salad dressing) 1/2 cup dairy sour cream 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese 1 cup Bisquick baking mix 1/4 cup cold water 1 medium green pepper, chopped 2 small or 1 large tomato, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped paprika, for sprinkling Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer while preparing remaining ingredients. Combine mayonnaise and sour cream with cheese in mixing bowl. Set aside. Grease 10-inch pie dish. Mix Bisquick and water until it is a soft dough. Work into pie dish and up sides. Spread meat into bottom of crust. Top with green pepper, tomato, and onion. Spoon sour cream mixture on top. Spread around gently. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 375°F for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand a few minutes. Cut into pie shaped wedges to serve. Makes 6 to 8 generous servings. |
