1/2 c. softened butter
1 box yellow cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can sliced pie apples, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour cream
1 egg

Mix 1 cup cake mix and butter until coarse like cornmeal. Press in bottom and sides of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Arrange apple slices on warm crust, combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Combine egg and sour cream, beat lightly. Spoon top and bake 15-20 minutes more.
