ESCALLOPED POTATOES | |
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns 2 c. sour cream 1 1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated 1/4 c. dehydrated chives Salt and pepper to your taste 1/2 c. butter, 1 cube 1 can cream of chicken soup In large bowl combine THAWED hash browns, sour cream, cheese, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix together well. Put in baking dish or electric skillet. Melt butter and mix with soup. Pour over potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If you use an electric skillet turn it on low for about an hour. Be sure it isn't too high because it will really stick. NOTE: You can make this into a main dish by adding ham or pieces of cooked pork chops, kielbasa or your choice. Just make sure it isn't very greasy. |
