ICE-BOX ROLLS 
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. melted shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beat well
8 or 8 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt

Put yeast in water and add shortening, sugar and eggs, 4 cups of the flour and salt. Beat about one minute. Stir in remaining flour. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator overnight.
