PUDDIN' CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant pudding (any flavor)
1 c. buttermilk baking mix
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine pudding mix and baking mix in bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in egg and milk. Blend well. Add chocolate chips and mix. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets and flatten with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned around edges.

Makes about 2 dozen.
