HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 
1 lg. pkg. Jello french vanilla instant pudding
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. sugar
Milk, at least 1 gallon

Mix sugar and 1 quart milk. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add Cool Whip and stir. Pour into ice cream freezer container. Mix pudding and 1 quart milk. Stir until pudding starts to gel. Pour in freezer container. Add enough milk to fill freezer to fill line. Freeze according to directions.

Variations: Add fruit such as pineapple, peaches, and strawberries to freezer and then add milk mixture to fill container to fill line. To make chocolate ice cream, use chocolate pudding and chocolate milk.
