HAM LOAF #2 | |
2 eggs 1 c. bread crumbs 1 c. milk 1 1/2 lb. lean ground pork 2 lb. ground ham 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 c. water 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 c. vinegar Whip eggs lightly; stir in crumbs and milk. Mix ham and pork together; add egg mixture and combine thoroughly. Shape into 9 x 13 dish or into small balls. Bake at 300-325 degrees for 2 hours. Baste frequently. BASTING SAUCE: Combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, water, dry mustard, and vinegar. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Ham balls freeze well for baking at a later dates. |
