BANANA PICKLES 
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. tumeric

Pare large cucumbers, cut the long way and cut out seeds. Bring syrup to boil. Pack cucumbers in jars. Pour syrup over cucumbers. Seal. Cold pack for 10 minutes. Makes 3 quarts pickles.
