VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 fresh pot herb
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 can (2 c.) stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1/4 c. med. barley pearled
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste

Cook all other ingredients 1 hour, then add frozen vegetables and cook until they are tender. Add a little water if thick. You may use a crock pot. Brown ground beef first and cook everything at one time.
