EUREKAN (ARKANSAS) CHEW CHEWS 
4 c. flour
1/2 lb. butter (substitute), softened
3 c. brown sugar
2 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, brown sugar and butter. Press mixture 1/4 inch thick into ungreased 12 x 17 x 1 inch sheet pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over unbaked crust.

TOPPING:

3 c. brown sugar
2 c. butter (no substitute)
2 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for approximately 5 minutes until caramelized. Pour mixture over crust and pecans. Bake in 350 degree oven until entire surface is bubbly. Remove mixture from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture. Gently swirl chocolate chips with spatula to give a marble effect. Cool and cut into squares.
