OLD FASHIONED SUGAR COOKIES

2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix above and beat well.

2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

Roll into balls, then roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees.
