STRAWBERRY CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines Cake Mix (may use yellow, white or strawberry)

Split layers to make 4 layers.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) container of Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed or 16 oz. chopped fresh berries

Cook strawberries until syrupy. Drain syrup into bowl and let cool. Pour over layers as you ice cake.

For Icing: Mix sour cream and sugar until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip a little at a time. Add cooked strawberries. Mix well. Put on cooled cake.
