BAKED CABBAGE 
1 med. cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1 lg. can tomato soup
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 sm. tomato paste
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. cooked rice, if desired

Cut the cabbage into chunks and boil in salted water for 7 minutes. Drain and put into a glass baking dish. Fry the ground beef and onion together. Add sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cabbage and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. If rice is desired, mix cooked rice with ground beef mixture and pour this in over cabbage. Serve hot.
