WILTED LETTUCE SALAD WITH PEAS 
10 oz. pkg. Green Giant sweet peas frozen in butter sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
2 oz. jar sliced pimento, drained
2 c. shredded lettuce or 4 c. torn assorted greens

Place unopened pea pouch in vigorously boiling water in saucepan. Do not cover. Bring water to a second vigorous boil and heat for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine sugar, bacon, vinegar and pimento. Add lettuce. Stir in peas. Serve immediately. 4 to 5 servings.
