REESE'S COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. peanut butter chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet.
