BLACK BOTTOM CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. water
2 tbsp. white vinegar

Add 6 ounces chocolate chips. Put 1/3 batter in 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Spread filling evenly - top with remainder of chocolate batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Ice with cream cheese icing.

ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar

Beat above 3 items until creamy.
