BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

Mix butter and sugar in large bowl. Add egg and vanilla - mix well until light and fluffy. Blend flours and dry ingredients. Add alternately with bananas and milk. Spoon into greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes for large loaf; mini loaves 30 minutes.
