DOUBLE DECADENCE CHOCOLATE CHIP
BROWNIES
 
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. (1 stick & 3 tbsp.) butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. Quaker oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 c. powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 13x9 inch baking pan. Beat sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Add 1 cup morsels, melted; mix well. Add flour, oats, baking powder, remaining 1 cup morsels, and nuts; mixing well. Spread into prepared pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into bars. Makes 2 dozen.
