3/4 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. cocoa (3 sq., 3 oz.)
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk & water, mixed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Mix together until rough mixture is formed. Put on cookie sheet, lightly greased, by finger (can be dropped by teaspoon). Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Yields approximately 12 dozen.
