10 c. white sugar
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. alum
30 fireweed blossoms
20 red clover blossoms
20 or 30 (depending on size) white clover blossoms

Be sure clover blossoms have no brown under petals as the bees have already taken the nectar. Make sure all blossoms are fresh. Wash thoroughly and set aside.

Bring to a boil sugar, water, and alum. Boil 8 minutes and set it off the stove. Add prepared blossoms to syrup and gently stir in. Let stand 15 minutes and then strain. Be sure to follow precisely.
