HOMEMADE HONEY 
10 c. sugar
1 tsp. alum
66 clover blossoms

Combine sugar and alum with 2 1/2 cups warm water in saucepan. Mix thoroughly. Boil gently for 10 minutes over medium heat without stirring. Remove from heat. Drop clover blossoms into hot liquid. Let stand for 10 minutes. Strain. Pour into sterilized jars. Yields 4 pints.
