CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. honey 1 c. peanut butter 6 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. butterscotch chips Combine sugar and honey in large saucepan. Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, only until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter; mix well. Add Rice Krispies. Stir until well coated. Press mixture into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan. Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together over low heat. Remove from heat and spread evenly over Rice Krispies mixture. Cool until firm. Cut into bars. Yield: 48 bars, 1 x 2-inch. |
