SWEET POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
4 1/2 tsp. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, poppy seed, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, vanilla and almond flavoring. Add to dry ingredients. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and pour batter into pans. Bake loaves in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Cover with foil for last 15 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans. Meanwhile make glaze and spoon over warm bread.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla
