JAY'S GRAVY FOR BISCUITS
OK here is the best gravy you will ever have. If you know the Jarrards we can make gravy!

1/3 safflower oil
4 or 5 small pieces of ham (for flavor)
1/3 to 1/2 cup flour
1 to 1 1/2 cups milk
2/3 cup half & half
1 to 2 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. pepper
1 cup cooked ground turkey sausage (I use Butterball)

First heat oil in a skillet on high to medium high heat and add ham for flavor of course.

When oil is frying the ham pieces add flour and whisk it in until smooth. Add milk gradually and whisk and stir to keep smooth. As it thickens season with salt and pepper and then work in the half & half (this is the secret stuff).

Once the gravy is smooth and thick add the cooked turkey sausage and stir. Lower heat to low or off.

All you need now is some warm homemade biscuits. Enjoy!!!
