GOLDEN CORNBREAD 
1 c. less 2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cornmeal in large mixing bowl. Beat eggs in separate bowl, add milk and butter. Add to flour mixture and beat with a spoon ONLY until moistened.

Grease well a 9 x 9 inch cake pan. Spread batter over bottom. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until tests done and golden brown. Cut into squares and serve warm with butter or honey. Makes 9 pieces.
