GREEN TOMATOE PIE 
Line pan with pie crust, save a top crust.

6 med. green tomatoes
1 sm. lemon, peeled and sliced very thin
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Slice tomatoes thin and soak in weak salt water 1 hour. Drain well and press water out. (I use a strainer and paper towels). Mix flour, sugar, spices, and lemon and pour over tomatoes. Mix well in large bowl and pour in pie crust, replace top crust and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
