Coca Cola Cake - Recipe

COCA COLA CAKE

Use a 16 ounce bottle of Coke.

Beat together until fluffy:

2 c. sugar

In a saucepan melt:

3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. Coke

Bring to a boil. Pour over egg mixture after cools.

Add 2 cups flour alternately with 1/2 cup buttermilk that has 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in it. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

COCA COLA FROSTING:

Bring to a boil:

3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. Coke
1 tsp. vanilla

Remove from heat and add:

1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. nuts, if desired

Beat until marshmallows are melted. Pour over Coca Cola Cake while still hot!
