FLORIDA ORANGE PUDDING 
2 1/3 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Use fresh, frozen or canned orange juice.

DUMPLINGS:

1 c. sifted cake flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. melted Crisco

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add slightly beaten egg to milk, then add melted shortening. Combine with dry ingredients. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls in hot syrup and simmer 40 minutes. Serve dumplings with syrup spooned over - Delicious!
