2 c. milk, scalded
3 eggs
5 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs. Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla; mix well. Add milk slowly; stir well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) until done.
