MOUSSAKA 
1 eggplant, peeled & sliced
1 lb. ground lamb or beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. cottage cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Nutmeg

Saute meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain well and add tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper and simmer 10 minutes. Brush eggplant slices with olive oil and broil for five minutes on each side. Make layers of eggplant and meat sauce in a greased casserole dish. Top with cottage cheese and eggs beaten together. Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Serves 4.
