HEAVENLY MUFFIN MIX 
8 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. Crisco

In a large bowl combine dry ingredients then using a pastry blender cut in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse corn meal.

This mix will keep for 3 months in a tightly covered jar, when you want to surprise your family with bakery fresh muffins, just add 1 beaten egg and 1 cup milk to 2 1/3 cups of this mix.

Bake at 400 degree for 15 to 20 minutes using a greased muffin pan and you will have a family treat.
