6 medium sweet potatoes
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. water

Parboil potatoes for 15 minutes. Place in a buttered baking dish. Combine sugar, salt, butter and water in a saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour sauce over sweet potatoes.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Baste occasionally.
