BUTTERSCOTCH - CHEESE BARS 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
2 c. crushed graham crackers
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts - optional

Melt butter and chips. Add cracker crumbs and nuts. Mix well, then pat into 9 x 13 inch pan (save 1/2 of crumb mixture for topping).

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg

Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread over crumb crust. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Refrigerate when cool.
