CHEESE - TOPPED TAMALE PIE 
2 tbsp. minced onions
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. oil
17 oz. can creamed corn
28 oz. can tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. seasoned salt
2 c. yellow cornmeal
13 1/2 oz. can tomato juice
1 c. ripe olives, cut in wedges
Grated American cheese

Combine first 7 ingredients in large skillet and simmer about 20 minutes. Stir in cornmeal. Add tomato juice and olives. Put in buttered casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cover top with cheese, return to oven and bake 5-10 minutes more.
