HEARTY CABBAGE SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
2 c. raw diced carrots
1-2 lg. onions, chopped
1/2 c. celery, diced
2 tbsp. oil
4 c. beef stock
Salt, pepper and paprika
6-7 c. coarsely chopped cabbage

Saute beef, onions, garlic, celery, and pepper in oil. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour. Add cabbage and simmer 1 hour more, adding more water, up to 3 cups. 6-8 servings.
