CRACKERJACKS 
2/3 c. un-popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. raw peanuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Pop corn, combine sugar, butter, sugar and peanuts. Bring to a boil, cooking for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and soda. Stir until it foams. Pour over popcorn. Mix well. Spread onto large cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, stir every 10 minutes. Pour onto waxed paper to cool and break apart. Makes 16 cups.
