APPLE PIE 
Crisco pastry for 2 crust pie
6 lg. cooking apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. butter

Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry. Pare, core and slice apples. Place in pastry. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Place other pastry over the pie. Cut slits for steam to escape. Seal edges with a fork and cut off excess crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
