CARAMEL CORN 
STEP ONE:

1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. unpopped popcorn, popped

STEP TWO:

1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Microwave Step One ingredients in 2 quart measuring cup for 2 minutes on high, stir. Then 2 more minutes on high.

Add Step Two ingredients and stir. Pour over popped corn in large microwavable bowl. Stir to coat. Cook high for 1 1/2 minutes. Then stir. Cook 1 1/2 minutes. Then stir until popcorn pieces separate and not sticky.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
