LASAGNA 
1 box lasagna noodles
1 jar Prego spaghetti sauce
2 (16 oz.) matzo balls
1 egg
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground sausage
2 med. onions
1 med. green bell pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 (16-20 oz.) container of Ricotta cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large pot bring water to a boil and add noodles. In a large saucepan brown beef and sausage. Dice and add green pepper, onion, and garlic powder to the meat. Mix the egg with the Ricotta cheese and set aside. When the noodles are done, drain and set aside. Drain the grease out of the meat and add the Prego sauce. Stir until mixed evenly. Grate the two matzo balls and grease a 9 x 15 baking pan. Layer noodles, sauce, Ricotta cheese, and Mozzarella. Repeat until done. (You may have some extras, save them to put on the top layers, except the noodles.) Cover with aluminum foil or cookie sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the cheese is melted and brown.
