CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
1 c. dry rice
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in saucepan. Add rice and raisins. Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice. Pour into serving bowl. Serve warm or cold sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. Makes about 10 servings.

HINT: For creamier pudding, place plastic wrap on surface while cooling. Chill about 1 hour; stir.
