GRANDMA'S HAMBURGER STRETCH 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. onion, diced
2 or 3 slices bread, broke in sm. pieces
1 lg. egg, slightly beaten
Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well, fingers work best to mix with. Form into patties and grill or fry as you would hamburgers until done.
