ZESTY SPAGHETTI BAKE 
2 slices of bacon, cut up
2 sm. onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 lb. lean ground beef or (chuck, round)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sliced black olives
1/2 lb. uncooked spaghetti
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

In a large skillet fry bacon for 2 minutes. Add onions, garlic and saute until tender. Add meat, brown lightly. Stir in seasonings, tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Add olives. Break spaghetti in easy to eat lengths. Layer spaghetti and sauce in a casserole beginning and ending with sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more. DO NOT COOK SPAGHETTI.
