TINA'S BEST DAMN TUNA CASSEROLE! | |
You will be surprised at how delicious this quick and easy dish is! 1/2 (12 oz.) bag broccoli cuts or pieces 1/2 (12 oz.) bag egg noodles (I use Inn Maid) 2 (5 oz. ea.) cans chunk white tuna in water 1 (15 oz.) jar Kraft Cheez Whiz 1 (16 oz.) bag shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided 1 (10 oz.) can Campbell's cream of onion soup 1 sleeve of crackers (I use Ritz or Townhouse) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter Preheat oven to 350°F Cook broccoli according to the directions on the bag. Cook noodles according to the directions on the bag. Drain cans of tuna, drain broccoli, drain noodles. Mix noodles, Cheez Whiz, half the bag of shredded cheddar cheese, broccoli and cream of onion soup together in a casserole dish. Crush 1 sleeve of Townhouse or Ritz crackers in a Ziploc freezer bag. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour into Ziploc bag with crackers. Seal the bag and shake until all the crackers are coated evenly with butter. Add remaining shredded cheese to cover top of casserole. Spread melted butter and cracker mixture on top of shredded cheese and cover with foil. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Enjoy! Submitted by: Tina Cook |
