PERSIMMON BREAD 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 c. persimmon pulp
3 eggs (beaten well)

Add:

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. walnuts

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in a loaf pan.
