BUTTERY PERFECT & EASY PIE CRUST 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, chilled
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
6-7 tbsp. ice water

In a large bowl combine flour and salt with pastry blender. Cut in butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.

Stir in ice water just until mixture begins to form a ball. Knead dough gently 2-3 times and flatten into disc shape. Dust with flour. Wrap in waxed paper and chill at least 1 hour. Make into desired crusts. Makes two 9 inch pie crusts.
