TURKEY MACARONI PIZZA | |
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked 1 lb. ground lean turkey 2 c. chunky style spaghetti sauce Dash of oregano 1/2 c. skim or reg. milk 1 egg, beaten 1/2 to 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Romano or Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on pizza In skillet cook turkey until no longer pink. Add sauce and oregano. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. In medium bowl blend milk and egg. Add macaroni, mix well. Spread in greased 14 inch pizza pan. Spoon meat mixture over macaroni. Top with both kinds of cheese. Bake in 350 hot oven about 20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. You may add onion and green pepper slices or mushrooms on top before baking. Serves 4 to 6 people. |
