QUICK AND EASY TEXAS HASH | |
1-1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 3 lg. onions, sliced 1 lg. green pepper 1 (#1) can tomatoes 1/2 c. (or a little more) uncooked rice 1-2 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4-1/2 c. celery Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet cook and stir ground beef until light brown. Drain off fat. Add onion, green pepper, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Heat through. Pour into 2 quart casserole, cover and bake 1 hour. 4-6 servings. |
