STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
1ST LAYER:

2 c. crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. sugar

3RD LAYER:

1 lg. box or 2 sm. boxes strawberry Jello
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

1ST LAYER: CRUST: Melt butter and add sugar and pretzels. Spread mixture evenly in 13"x9" pan. Bake in 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.

2ND LAYER: With electric mixer, mix cream cheese and sugar and Add Cool Whip. Beat until mixed and spread over cooled crust mixture.

3RD LAYER: Dissolve Jello in boiling water, add pineapple and strawberries (just use juice from one package berries, drain the other). Let Jello mixture sit in refrigerator long enough to begin setting, but, you must be able to pour over the mixture. Chill until set.
